5 THINGS MAKE ME SO GRATEFUL6:35 AM
Let me take a break from the outfit and travel posts because I would like to share with you some random photos that have a lot of stories behind it. Here are some photos that made me smile recently that I thought I'd share with you all. They are the simple things that make me happy and grateful and I think that sometimes with our busy schedules, we take for granted those small special pieces of life that make the day better.
1. The new look of SRS BLOG
Do you notice the change happened from SRS BLOG? Yes, I spent hours just to make a new design for my blog yesterday (and ignored all the activities I should did on Sunday). I was as busy as lazy bear laying on my bed struggling to make the view of SRS BLOG looks lighter, tidy, organized and enjoyable. I always try to focus on the things I do like and do what I know you guys would enjoy seeing on SOMETHING REAL SERIOUS, so do tell me what you think about the new look of this blog on the comment below if you have time :)
2. Public Health World
Back to 3 years ago when I chose to live the path that Jesus leads me to public health major, even though I had a dream to be a doctor. I believe every major has its difficult and complicated task/subjects, but I still feel safe because of what I'm dealing with is something which is related to health world. I have no idea how to explain this that I can't imagine if I go to another majors that I do not like, I’m sure I might give up easily. Seriously, I feel blessed by God for giving me parents and best friends who fully support me to do what I want and what I believe. I really can't wait to graduate from college, because I want to chase another dreams.
So, if you’ve been following me on Instagram or Twitter you might know that April was the best month in this year so far. I was chosen to be one of Marina Icon Beauty Blogger along with my new friend, Kezia G. Christy. And this May, I officially become a Marina girl and you can find my photos with ka Clara Devi on Gogirl Magazine :) Well, well, just don’t forget to grab a copy of Gogirl Magazine May Issue :) I feel so blessed and grateful at the same, Jesus is amazing :) #ilovemyjob
4. A friend who you can talk to about anything and makes you feel like you were sisters separated at birth.
I’m grateful to get to know Novi before graduating from senior high school. She is such a lovely and amazing person. To be honest, we haven’t known each others in the first and second year of school, well technically I knew her, she knew me but we weren’t friends till the senior year, we become so close because we were seat mates. Now we become like a real friend, even we are not living in the same island, we still have talks (from good talks to shitty talks lol). Well, I think this is very essential for a girl’s well being. Without this, what can we (for those who happen to be one and only daughter in your families) do to share the useless and random things we used to overthink about everyday or just to distract your busy and annoying day by sending an useless text like; I have a problem / What? / I want to poop/I feel fat/I ate delicious foods today, let me send you the photo” and still empathize with you like a real sister :p
5. Love myself first and be optimistic
If you want to be loved, you must love and respect yourself as much as you do to others. You can start now! Get a haircut, workout or go shopping (top three things I recently love to do). After you feel you have enough loved yourself, now let’s be realistic to be an optimistic person. I’ve mentioned it a couple of times that I’m a pessimistic person but since the start of 2014, I told myself to always be the best version of Ollyvia, I’ve turned around and I’m liking it a lot better.
Happy Monday, gorgeous people :)
