L'OREAL PARIS MICELLAR WATER 3-IN-1

11:12 PM

To have natural and healthy skin, it all starts with removing your makeup properly! It’s very important for me to make sure that I remove all of that gunk off my face before I go to sleep at night! That’s why I have such an extensive night routine (as you guys might see how I take care of my skin well). Through this post I want to properly & completely share you how I remove my go-to makeup!

I've been fond of cleansing water lately and I'm so excited to exclusively try out L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water 3-in-1 (Cleanse, Remove makeup and Soothe) myself before it's available in Sociolla (FYI: it'll be launched TOMORROW, 10th January 2016 on Sociolla Website). I really love the dust blue colour of this box, so cute, my heats almost skipped the beat lol.

Micellar water can cost a pretty penny especially if they have extra benefits and L'Oreal Paris has just made it even more affordable for us with the unveiling of L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water 3-in-1. Thanks to L’Oreal Paris Skin Paris Expert who totally knew what we want.
Micellar water has been a staple in the skin care routines of French women because it's known that France's fresh water doesn't suit well with most skin, therefore Micellar water is born. It's an alternative to fresh water but boosted with oil particles to deliver intense cleansing power without the need to rinse again; Micellar water became one of the most popular cleansing solutions as we know it. Oh, by the way they're perfect for your travel beauty kit too.
L'Oreal Micellar Water 3-In-1 comes in two variants:
- Refreshing (Blue) with 95% Pure Water is best for combination skin type and oily skin types.
- Moisturizing (Pink) with Rose Extract is best for sensitive skin/dry skin types.
I am not only focused on cleansing make up. Yup, aside from removing the makeup and cleansing the skin, the product will also soothe the skin. I use this L’Oreal Micellar Water before applying makeup to remove the last traces of oil and grime on my skin. The result was it did feel as gentle as water on my skin. I felt soothed and toned.

You can also use this Micellar Water before sleep and after you wake up to cleanse and hydrate your face or after doing some outdoor activities to soothe the face. This one is a good choice to refresh your face while you are stuck in traffic.
L’Oreal Paris Micellar Water 3-in-1 can dissolve make-up, unclogs pores, removes impurities, tones and soothes the skin. Designed to be swept away with a cotton pad rather than rinsed off, micellar water is made up of cleansing micelle particles suspended in soft water. These tiny oil particles draw make-up (including waterproof mascara), sebum and impurities from the skin without the need for harsh chemicals. It’s capable of removing even waterproof mascara.
As you can see from the photo below, I wear full makeup (but not too heavy), I was wearing cc cream, pigmented eyeshadows, mascara, blush on, eyebrow pencil+mascara and long-wear lipstick.

Because I have a combination skin type, I used this L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water Refreshing (Blue).

How to use this Micellar Water;
- Apply using a cotton wool pad onto dry skin.
- Hold over the lashes, lids and lips for a few seconds then just sweep away.
- Hold over all of your face and sweep away.
This makeup remover is pretty much magic in a bottle! It cuts through the makeup in a single swipe of a cotton. My skin was left feeling clean and hydrated in just one swipe.

I used a cotton pad and I loved how it removed all of my makeup while feeling fresh and cleansed. It literally feels like water. I recommend this to anybody that needs an affordable way to remove makeup easily.
Because I am such a curious one and I love to test new product, So I managed to give this L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water Moisturising (Pink) a try. Based on my experience, I didn't find any trouble trying the Moisturizing variant, it tends to feel a bit more moist than the Refreshing variant and good to be applied before sleeping in my opinion.
Did you remember this look? I created this natural go-to makeup using L'Oreal Paris Infallible products on the previous post. What I love the most from this Micellar Water is the formula is gentle on my eyes (this became a big concern for me because of my contact lenses). On that note, I will say that this formula doesn’t burn if you do get it in your eyes but the waterproof formula did leave my eyes slightly cloudy after use.
My makeup was totally a water proof, so I did a second round of cleansing for a sure sweep. It putted up a bit of a fight, but came away after a few extra passes over.
It did remove my eye makeup pretty well, although I think it took a few more swipes with the cotton pad/ball.
L'Oreal Micellar Water in detail;
I love it! It leaves my skin feeling not dry at all. It soothes any kind of break out that I might have, it also doesn't dry out my skin which is the most important thing and after using it for few weeks I found it also helped with clogged pores. The product does take a minute or two to dry, but I don't find that a problem. I think it's a very good product for its price. It will sweep away your make-up easily, leaving skin feeling fresh, ready, toned and cleansed. It’s totally a good option for easy make-up removal when time is tight.
If you have oily skin, go for Refreshing. If you have dry skin, go for moisturizing.
