When You Really Mean It, It Does Affect One's World

11:35 AM

The misconception....
I know this blog post sounds cheesy.
I don’t even know why I wrote this, but when I entered this post I remembered of someone who I think, he purely appreciates and knows my presence.
He is not a close friend, he just someone who I know.
The day I wore this outfit was the first time I heard him bravely said to me that he likes the way I dress up and the fact that he likes and appreciates whatever I’m wearing, till now, he already said the same words twice toward me.
Nothing’s special from his words but I’m just feeling happy because he really mean it.
It indeed makes me happier to hear his honesty opinion about me.
I truly enjoy mixing and matching my clothes, combining patterns with patterns, do color blocking.
My clothes really have a deeper meaning to me, I don’t dress up to be looked pretty, I dress up as self-expression.
I always feel flattered when I hear nice words from people who pay attention and respect the why I am, the way I dress up.
Ah, please don’t misunderstand my thoughts right now, I know it’s rare for you to see that I talk a lot about someone who are not too close to me besides my parents, my family and my best friends.
It’s not like what you think, I don’t put any expectation that he likes me.
Yeah, just because he said those words doesn’t mean he has a feeling on me, right? :)
From now on, I just know that he admires my style.
I talk about this as a proof that some people are really honest, nice and kind to me and he is one of them.
Just like what Ka Diana Rikasari says : 'Words carry real meanings, hence the presence of dictionaries. Never think that words are just words. They really affect one's world.'
