A DAY AT MIRACLE AESTHETIC CLINIC

It's weekend, and it means another quality time with mom. Jadi hari ini, aku dan mamaku berkunjung ke salah satu klinik terkenal di Balikpapan Baru; Miracle Aesthetic Clinic. Ehem di Indonesia juga sih karena Miracle Clinic dikenal sebagai salah satu klinik skincare terkemuka di Indonesia, it has so many branches all over Indonesia and Indonesian public figures also visit this clinic too to do their treatments.

We visited this clinic because my mom wanted to try their treatment for the first time dan kebetulan minggu ini Miracle Clinic lagi ada event Fabulous Beauty Week yang menawarkan berbagai macam beauty treats. Klinik ini bisa dibilang eksklusif banget sih kareng mereka sangat higienitas dengan menggunakan teknologi terbaru, therapis juga berpengalaman serta servis mereka yang menurut aku cukup profesional. Servis yang ditawarkan di klinik ini sangat beragam tergantung kebutuhan kulit wajah masing-masing.

Kebetulan banget hari ini, klinik Miracle lagi rame-ramenya tapi dari pihak Miracle Clinic sendiri, miss Cindytia Rudianto made the reservation for mom by phone so mom got the treatment directly with dr. Mulik :)

Waktu pertama kali masuk ke dalam klinik, kami berdua langsung disambut oleh dr. Mulik dan para therapisnya, setelah itu mama disuruh mengisi data formulis pasien baru (yup it's our first time to get beauty treatment), setelah itu mama berkonsultasi dengan dokter Mulik untuk di diagnosa treatment yang sesuai dengan kondisi kulit mama.

After finishing with the consultation, mama langsung diajak masuk ke ruangan treatment, the room is small but super cozy, clean and hygienic. Di ruangan ini, mama lagi menjalani tahapan awal untuk treatment yakni cleansing oleh therapis. Meskipun saat datang ke klinik, mama tidak menggunakan make up tetap deh wajahnya harus dibersihkan terlebih dahulu.
The therapist washed her hands and spray antiseptic solution before touching mom's face. The hair cap and sponge which are used to clean the face are disposable, dr. Mulik said that they always use new products for every customer.

Secara kasat mata, mamaku punya masalah kulit di daerah disekitar tulang pipinya merah-merah banget, her face almost full with redness jadi dr. Mulik menyarankan mama untuk mencoba perawatan Miracle Diamond Peel Plus dan karena kantong matanya mama juga lumayan ketutup lemak jadinya kelihatan sayu banget, jadi dr. Mulik menawarkan mama untuk mendapatkan treatment Miracle Eye Revitalizing Peel juga, dan untuk timbunan lemak di kedua mata, dr. Mulik menganjurkan untuk dioperasi karena kalau dengan perawatan aja mustahil untuk menghilangkannya (yeah someday ya ma, aku bakalan bawa mama ke Korea Selatan untuk mendapatkan operasi plastik untuk mata. Amin).

Setelah selesai dengan proses face cleansing, mama diajak ke ruangan lain untuk pemeriksaan kondisi dan jenis kulit wajah mama, dan hasilnya adalah pori-pori kulit mama banyak banget dan besar-besar, mukanya juga berminyak di permukaan, warna kulit mama juga kurang cerah dan banyak fleknya. Dr. Mulik juga menyarankan mama untuk minum air sebanyak 10 gelas setiap hari.

Yang aku suka dari dokter Mulik ini, she is well educated, bisa memberikan penjelasan yang baik mengenal produk, treatment yang ada, serta menjawab pertanyaan dengan jelas tanpa berbelit-belit. Dokternya bahkan tidak menawarkan produk apapun dan malah memberikan banyak saran serta informasi skincare yang berharga buat aku dan mama.

First, mom got her Eye Revitalizing Peel, doctor Mulik gave an eye cream di sekitaran daerah mata mama.

After that mom is getting ready to get the Diamond Peel Plus treatment.

Doctor Mulik gave mom the serum for brightening depending on her skin needs.

Liat muka mama yang sumringah, aku nyeletuk nanya;

"sakit gak ma?"

and she said;

"gak sakit sama sekali, enak banget malah, muka mama kayak di tarik-tarik, tapi beneran enak deh, mama mau lagi ya."

Tahap akhir dari treatment ini, dokter memberikan krim wajah yang lembut dan tidak lengket dengan SPF30.

Okay I was impressed, this treatment doesn't cause any injuries! No redness and no pain too. The treatment process is relatively short too, it only takes 25minutes and the fact that doctor Mulik is so experienced and humble so the process doesn't seem slow and boring.

Miracle Diamond Peel Plus ini memang merupakan best seller services karna hasilnya yang akurat dan cepat loh.

And here's the result, you totally witness a visible result after a single treatment, mom's skin was brighter and no redness instantly.

I was quite pleased that the treatment doesn't irritate mom's skin, she looks happier now and I am the happiest one to see mom is happy <3

We went to mall after getting the treatment, oya hari ini aku juga sempat mengalami kecelakaan kecil di perjalanan ke mall bersama mama, aku kesal banget sih sama pengemudi motor yang suka melanggar peraturan lalu lintas, seenaknya saja melawan arus jalan, sehingga sempat menabrak aku, I was so shocked dan tangan kanan sempat tremor dan gak bisa gerak, daerah dada juga sempat nyeri, I can't even think straight because of this accident, but thanks to Jesus, I am still fine right now, I still can write too. I forgave what he did to me, but I'll never forget his clumsy, pelanggaran sekecil apapun bisa banget menyebabkan musibah bagi korban dan juga diri sendiri, I hope he learned something today.

Anyway, back to topic, after we went to mall, we decided to go home, it's been three hours, we arrived at home and mom directly washed her face, as you can see from the photos below (these photos was taken outside), Mom’s face is a lot brighter, no more redness, pori-porinya juga terlihat mengecil, warna kulit mama pun merata, warna hitam pada bagian bawah matanya juga terlihat lebih cerah meskipun tidak menghilang tapi lumayan banget efeknya dan mungkin tidak bisa kelihatan difoto tapi menurut mama, kulit mukanya langsung terasa halus. Indeed, the result can be seen instantly after the first treatment!

A SEVEN IN ONE CC CREAM, TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL

I have been trying a lot of cc/bb creams and can’t seem to find the one that suits for my face skin and for some reasons, this cc cream caught my attention; TOO COO FOR SCHOOL Dinoplatz CC Cream! I have the Highlighter topped version, but this also comes with a concealer or blusher option.

Talk about the packaging, this CC Cream is packaged in a super cute dino themed packaging, you can see that a dinosaurs is roaming around the building of New York City, hmmm too cool and too cute. It’s a collaboration between Too Cool For School (a Korean cosmetic brand) and New York-based architect and painter Hatori Sando.

Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cinema City CC cream is a seven-in-one CC cream that supports moisturizing, anti aging, brightening, firming, smoothing, evening out skin tone (neutralizing any irritation or redness) and SPF 30 UV protection (a good alternative for a daily sunscreen).

This product is infused with Water-in-Silicone technology so that it blends smoothly onto skin, and will be giving us a flawless face. This product contains 30ml of CC Cream and it has 2.8g of the highlighter/concealer/blusher.

This Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cinema City CC cream is usable for 12 months after opening. The further descriptions on the packaging are written in Korean.

This CC cream comes super pale. It's slightly on the peachy beige colour. What you see on my hand is pretty much exactly what you'll get on my face.

This CC cream is very watery compared to all of the others I’ve tried. For a CC cream, this went on surprisingly matte. The finishing matte is obviously going to be a big advantage for me who almost experience the heat of summer like every day as it’s extremely light and airy. It can work well as a base under foundation too, but I am a fan of using a CC cream alone on my face.

You can see the difference before and after I applied the cc cream. I took these pictures below using my iPhone's camera.

This product makes my skin looks healthier and more luminous (it has a pinkish tone) and clear (it also helped a little with my freckles also it covers some of my light imperfections). The formula works well with my skin. It does have light to medium coverage as to be expected from a CC Cream.

I absolutely love this CC Cream! What a great shade for me, it blends with my natural skin tone. It also lasts fairly well (for a CC Cream).

I almost forget to mention that this product is also equipped with a highlighter, just twist the glass cap and you can use the highlighter.

The highlighter is kind of a pale purple colour that has very subtle shimmers. It's quite thick in texture. I like that it's a little thicker, because it means that it's not so sticky and literally can’t make my hair stick to my face. The highlighter gives a touch of glow on the skin.

The highlighter glides smoothly on the skin. Though I would suggest to apply this thinly as it easily cakes up when heavily applied.

It was really humid today and I'm sweating very much as you can see from below, but yes, this CC Cream holds up really well, it does not create a ruckus on my face, I don’t have to worry about caking. This CC cream is one of the comfiest face make up I’ve ever had so far.

*My thoughts about Too Cool For School’s Dinoplatz Cinema City*

- This CC cream and highlighter formula really covers imperfections, reduces the appearance of my wrinkles, it’s easy to apply, I don’t need beauty blender when spreading and blending it on my face.

- If you hate the feeling of being suffocated by heavy product just like me, you’re going to like this one. This will surely work on you if comfort is your number 1 concern. It doesn’t feel sticky and heavy at all. I think this CC cream is designed for people who already have great skin like me, I'm not sure this would play on darker skin tones.

- For you have more visible skin concerns, you could either add a foundation or a high coverage BB cream on top of this because the coverage is very minimal as expected and if you have acne scars, dark spots or other skin imperfections, a concealer is still very much needed.

- It costs IDR 499.000, worth to buy because it’s basically a 2-in-1 product as you do not only get the CC but a to-go highlighter/concealer/blusher as well.

- Too bad, it only comes in one shade.
