Nowadays, people love drinking Matcha tea, it became a trend and what’s funnier? That Matcha-trend has also entered our favorite skin care market and today’s review is about a clay mask which has matcha in it #MatchainAja as I simply cannot resist trying another new face mask, so first of all I started with unboxing this beauty box from Garnier Indonesia :)
The Garnier team is so kind to send me this beautiful package contains; Pure Active Matcha Deep Clean Blackhead & Pore Purifying Clay Masks, Pure Active Matcha Deep Clean Dirt & Oil - Control Foam, Matcha candy and Matcha latte.
If you are looking for a gentle facial detox? Matcha has a great skincare benefits that are even more powerful when you smear it on your face. The matcha powder is a safe detox for acne and prevent early aging (anyone who has concerns about fine lines and wrinkles will love the effects of matcha too). The other thing is matcha green tea is known for being an energy booster, so it can stimulate and rejuvenate skin cells.
Everyday city lifestyle makes skin look oily, dirty and dull. Time to do a detoxifying weekly treatment.
*Garnier Pure Active Matcha Deep Clean Dirt & Oil - Control Foam*

Before applying the clay mask, I washed my face using this Garner de-tox foam. I can't lie but it really dissolves oil, brightens dullness & deeply cleanses pores from trapped dirt & pollution particles. Enriched with Salicylic Acid, it reduces excess oil by up to 96% & has an acne anti-recurrence effect. This one is useful to achieve brighter, clearer, oil-free skin.
*Garnier Pure Active Matcha Clay Mask*

A new generation of face mask with creamy-clay texture that purifies for refreshed and clean skin. The product is green in color. To be honest, it has been a while since I’ve used a clay face mask so at first I thought I may find it way too heavy on my face but I was pleasantly surprised. Compared to clay masks I have used in the past, this was light but build-able to create a thick layer. This product will help us to remove oil and reduce the blackheads.
Be ready to try this awesome face masks. I apply a generous amount of the product on my face (avoiding the eye and lip areas). It provides a squeaky-clean feeling to my skin, which I love. I found it comfortable to wear and it has a lovely subtle fresh scent, close to green tea but nothing overpowering.
I have sensitive skin but the mask doesn’t feel itchy after application. However it doesn’t dry on the skin, but my face felt warm instead. It spreads smoothly on the skin. As per the instructions, I keep the mask for around 3 minutes and then I wash it off with water (trust me, the mask is very easy to wash off).
I also asked my cousin to try this clay mask out because sharing is caring and yes she really loves it.
This mask is not expensive and it’s nice to pamper yourself once in a while, (especially if you have oily skin). Give it a try.
After removing the mask I saw that my skin became softer and smoother (I could not stop touching my face)I definitely saw improvement in my skin after using this mask, and will be buying and using this again.
